On March 21, the 2023 Work Conference of Shenyang Institute of Technology, namely the third meeting of the first Teachers’ Congress were held in the 205 Lecture Hall of the Library. Hu Xiaomei, Secretary of the Party Committee of SIT, and Li Kangju, the President of SIT, attended and spoke at the meeting, and all school leaders, middle-level leading cadres and representatives of the Teachers’ Congress attended the meeting, which was presided over by Gong Peiguo, member of the Party Committee and Executive Vice President.

With the title of “Comprehensively Strengthening Party Building and Making SIT’s Contributions to Fighting and Winning the ‘Liaoshen Campaign’ in the New Era”, Hu Xiaomei systematically reviewed the solid results achieved by the school in Party building and ideological and political work in 2022, comprehensively investigated and laid out the shortcomings in the work, and deployed the Party building and ideological and political work in 2023. The leading cadres should be more closely united around the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, comprehensively implement Xi Jinping’s thoughts on socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, and deeply understand the decisive significance of the establishment of both Comrade Xi Jinping’s core position on the Party Central Committee and in the Party as a whole and the guiding role of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. At the meeting, Li Kangju comprehensively summarized the main work and outstanding achievements of the school in 2022, fully affirmed the hard work of leading cadres and all faculty and staff in the past year, and made a comprehensive deployment around the 7 key tasks in 2023. It is hoped that all leading cadres will do a solid job in the re-evaluation of qualification assessment and ensure the completion of a high-quality answer sheet. It is necessary to strengthen the construction of teachers and build an excellent teaching team.
