Secretary Zhen fully affirms the SIT's catering environment and overall food safety. Zhen has visited the campus and the "Happy Learning" Canteen designing to inspect the facilities, food processing operations, tableware cleaning and disinfection, food storage, fly and rat prevention facilities, hygiene of the kitchen, food sampling, and food safety system.

Zhen emphasized that food is the top priority of the people, safety is the top priority of food. Food safety is a livelihood project and a project that is close to the hearts of the people. It is also an important foundational support for teachers, students, staff, and parents to feel a sense of achievements, happiness, and security. Food safety is highly concerned in society. Universities should always understand and grasp the requirements of food safety from the political perspective of "two safeguards", and effectively bear the political responsibility of ensuring food safety and implementing it in action. Universities should further enhance their political position, strictly implement territorial responsibility and main responsibility, and firmly establish a food safety defense line. Besides, it is necessary to conduct training for practitioners in order to ensure the proficiency of food safety-related knowledge of safety management personnel and practitioners. Further enhancement is on the food safety awareness and operational skills of cafeteria practitioners achieving the standard of “safety on the tip of the tongue" for teachers, students, and staff.
